Eldercare Services
Where do you start when a senior needs more care than can be provided at home? We will find a solution that’s right for you or your loved one.
What is an eldercare advisor?
An eldercare advisor provides time saving expertise to help seniors and their families with one or more decisions involving their care. At Tweeten Eldercare Advisors, we have specialized in locating assisted living options for clients since 2008, helping navigate the complex maze of care alternatives either at home or in a community setting such as an assisted living community or licensed care home. We also serve as a valuable information resource for people who are not yet ready to make a move, or looking for an independent living option.
“I think this is a great service. When we were in L.A., we were given the name of a placement agency that just generated a printout of all the homes in an area. It was totally useless to us. Eloise was very knowledgeable and listened to what we wanted for my mother-in-law and came up with the best solutions.”

Why Tweeten Eldercare Advisors?
We Offer:
GUIDANCE to help navigate the decisions and choices you face.
PLACEMENT to find the right home for you or a loved one.
SUPPORT to help ensure your new home feels like home.
Our elder placement service is free to families
Similar to the real estate industry, both large and small licensed assisted living communities normally pay placement professionals a referral fee for introducing prospective residents to their communities. As a result, the family receives this invaluable service at no charge.
We help you make informed decisions
Where do you begin when there are dozens of potential living options available? We provide you with personalized information about care alternatives and facility types. Our services include an in-person meeting, care assessment, and facility visits with you as appropriate. We regularly monitor and personally visit over 225 licensed Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFEs) throughout the North Bay (primarily Marin and Sonoma counties), update vacancy information monthly, and review state Community Care Licensing reports on individual facilities. This helps ensure our clients are referred to the best options available that match their needs.
Considering placement beyond the North Bay? We research and refer you to trusted affiliates and/or valuable resources in other geographic areas throughout California and the continental U.S.
Consulting service
We also consult on a fee-for-service basis if this is your preference, if you need assistance evaluating a wider range of care options, or if your planning horizon is further out. We also offer care coordination and advocacy services through associates. Our initial consultation is always free.
